Stupid little Fockers

well Gary and I could easily have been killed tonight thanks to the antics of a group of little P****s in town. My money went into the bank at midnight and as Mr wanted some cash we popped into town to get it out the bank cashpoint. Bus being off the road , we went on the bike. In one of the main roads in town, a group of 5 or 6 lads suddenly ran out at us into the road. Good thing Gary has so much experience on bikes and managed to avoid running them over or crashing . Stopped at the bank, looked back down the road, and the little wotsits were having a go at a car. Car drove at them in the end and they scattered. Got back here, and have spent the last 30 minutes ringing the police on the non-emergency number. Well surprise surprise there was no reply !! If either of us had taken our mobiles would have 999'ed it in town,but 15 minutes later doesn't really consititue 'emergency'. Police as usual are too busy to answer the phone now they have such a massive area to cover, ( recently the control room went to another town in wiltshire, and now they take calls from most of the county for police and fire emergency calls, think poss also ambulance but know they were seperate for a while at leasts) yet another incident will go unreported. Well its one way of reducing the crime stats isn't it
