I have stat counter, I can see who visits my blog, those who visit reguarly, I know your ip's. So when you visit my blog when you are 'offline' I know about it!!!

bear in mind, you need to know the persons IP address before you can confirm it's them personally... for instance, there are a half dozen people in basildon that read my blog, and while i know who 4 of the readers are, 2 could be anyone, and I don't know any of their IP addresses...
In this case I know the IP address from elsewhere on the net, as well as emails sent from that location ;)
