Calne Bike Meet 2008

For the last 8 years The Rotary Club has hosted an annual Bike Meet in the small Wiltshire market town of Calne

It is always an amazing day, with several thousand bikes invading the town. On an ordinary weekend afternoon Calne is a sleepy little place, but on Bike Meet day, well its MAD!! We have just spent a fantastic day out there, the kids loved it, walking round looking at some of the most incredible bikes you have ever seen. Live music blares out across the town square, whilst local charities host tombola stalls nestling next to london based leather companies, selling everything you could possibly want in a bikers world!!. Everyone is there for fun, to admire each others bikes, to chat, to socialise, meet old friends and new ones!

I particuarly like the airsprayed bikes, some have very intricate and imaginative designs.
