Musical Monday

My Musical Monday choice. Its been a while since I did Musical Monday, for many reasons to many to list, but mainly because of feeling so ill. I knew I was ill, I knew I felt pants and knew that after my op I would feel better, even though there were always doubts and moments of blinding despair, monments when I really thought that it would be better of I did just go. I am still in recovery period, it will be 6 weeks before they can say the op was a success, but already I feel better. Lots better, almost frighteningly so, making me realise that I was even sicker than even I realised. I have energy though not able to use it quite yet, but getting there slowly. This past few days I have been thinking alot, reflecting on my life, the reasons for various things, and have come to the conclusion that some things have happened in my life for good reason. I am feeling so lucky today, that my condition was diagnosed when it was, that the research had been done, that the treatment had been developed and that because of that I have a chance to see my kids grow up. Life is not going to be simple, but at least I am going forward. So, whilst pootling around you tube, I came across this little gem from yesteryear. Listen to the words... it is so appropriate this week. This week is also CHD awareness week, but that is something I am going to blog about later. This video is dedicated to the researchers who found out about ARVC, who developed the treatments for it, and the surgeon who has given me a life worth living. And to all those affected by heart defects and heart disease. To those who are battling and to those who have gained their wings. Thank you all from the bottom of my rather knackered heart xxx

Every drop of rain that falls in Sahara Desert says it all
It's a miracle
All God's creations great and small
The Golden Gate and the Taj Mahal
That's a miracle
Test tube babies being born
Mothers,fathers dead and gone
It's a miracle

We're having a miracle on earth
Mother nature does it all for us
The wonders of this world go on
The hanging Gardens of Babylon
Captain Cook and Cain and Able
Jimi Hendrix to the Tower of Babel
It's a miracle it's a miracle it's a miracle
It's a miracle

The one thing we're all waiting for is peace on earth - an end
to war
It's a miracle we need - the miracle
The miracle we're all waiting for today

If every leaf on every tree could tell a story that would be a
miracle
If every child on every street had clothes to wear and food to
eat
That's a miracle
If all God's people could be free to live in perfect harmony
It's a miracle

We're having a miracle on earth
Mother nature does it all for us
Open hearts and surgery
(wonders of this world go on)
Sunday mornings with a cup of tea
Super powers always fighting
But Mona Lisa just keeps on smiling
It's a miracle it's a miracle it's a miracle

(wonders of this world go on)
It's a miracle it's a miracle it's a miracle
It's a miracle

The one thing (the one thing) we're all waiting for (we're all
waiting for)
Is peace on earth (peace on earth) and an end to war (an end
to war)
It's a miracle we need - the miracle
The miracle peace on earth and end to war today

That time will come one day you'll see when we can all be
friends
That time will come one day you'll see when we can all be
friends
That time will come one day you'll see when we can all be
friends
That time will come one day you'll see when we can all be
friends
