Yes it is official,according to the Readers Digest Survey, Swindon is among the least family friendly places in the country, coming 391st out of 408! See where your town comes ! Why am I not surprised ? Swindon is not a good place if you have a young family. try attending the NCT toddler group !! See my earlier post about THAT !!
As a Family Friendly place to live, Swindon Sucks !
But as a place to live in general, its great, perfectly situated for both the Motorways, and for the fanatastic countryside, beautiful local parks, nice range of shops, clubs, pubs and leisure facilities, low unemployment rates... all in all its greta here. Just don't try to find a friendly toddler group. There is no such beast

Torbay comes 369 which is fairly low down the list which even though I don't have a family doesn't suprise me.
